The project requires to create the container according to the assigned footprint to make sure that the surgical tool would fits in properly. After determining the dimensions of the surgical tool, the container was created with a slot which perfectly fit thedimensions of the tool in order to securely hold it in place when being moved. Next, holes were added, big enough to facilitate sanitization of the tool while alsobeing small enough to uphold structural integrity. Then, handles on either side of the slotwhich fit the surgical tool were added so the Q-Arm was able toproperly close and hold onto thecontainer. Also, holes were added on the handles to increase the friction between robotic arm and container and give the grippers a spot to slot into. Finally, space was added between the handles and the slot so there could be minimizedmaterials used while also minimizing the weight. To add, all measurements were ensured to be greater than 2mm, as stated by the requirements, but to ensure the durability, all actual dimensions were a minimum of 4mm.
